Where?

In my classroom in my home in Mannamead, Plymouth. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We work hard in lessons though!

When?

Generally sessions are weekday evenings between 4pm and 8pm although there can be flexibility around this. I run all year round including school holidays.

How much?

One to one sessions cost £30 per hour
11+ group sessions cost £20 per session

How do I pay?

Monthly by cash or bank transfer, at the beginning of each month

11+ Year 4 and Year 5 Groups

The syllabus is tailored to prepare students for the 11 + exams, using tried and tested methods and resources. There are a lot of topics to cover. In the lessons we will go over the topics together. Students will get plenty of practice during class and for homework.

Students will need to be prepared to do at least 1.5 hours homework per week and this will increase the closer we get to the exams, when they will be doing lots of practice papers.

You will need to purchase a course folder from me for £20. There are some other workbooks that you will also need to assist with studies. I will recommend which ones to get and from where.

It is particularly important to continue with 11+ tutoring during school holidays wherever possible.

I have an excellent success rate, with most of my students gaining a place at their grammar school of choice. No matter what the outcome, my sessions ensure a robust foundation in Maths and English which will help with SATS, secondary school and beyond.

One-to-One Maths

I provide one-to-one tuition in Maths covering KS3, KS4, GCSE (including Higher) and Functional Skills.
